And finally I let out the surreptitiously guarded secret of this eon- how do I manage to maintain the perfect BMI over the passing inordinate length of time. Well it is as simply stated – I go with the flow, I do NOT try to stay slim..and here’s how it is…my natural flow i.e J
(Well ahaaa also keeping the feedback in mind that my past two blogs were approximately tangent over the heads of several readers I hereby undertake a solemn assurance to write this one in plebian language)
Well this would almost cover my (un)healthy (??) lifestyle tagging alongwith some not very well known facts about my culinary likes and dislikes
So lets get going……
1) I skip breakfast and have a super light lunch. Dinner is my only full meal
2) I do not exercise- have never ever been to the gym. PT was my lowest scoring subject even in school, I almost dreaded the PT period (It could also be something to do with that I can never perform at the optimum in any kind of organized group activity..well unless I am the group leader maybe? )
3) I eat in small portions. Really small portions. I never pose myself with the punishment of finishing all that’s left on my plate..when I’m done..I’m just so done (irrespective of the ‘food on plate status”)
4) My darling my new found love my Red Wine has long over taken the rank of being my favorite drink. Sorry my other darling “tea” – you are at no. 2 now (Regular tea..not the agarbatti tasting green tea, and jasmine tea and this tea, some tea and some other tea)
5) Insipid food- please stay away. Spicy super spicy, the kind that could set an esophagus on fire. Yes I can have that thrice a day. Same goes with sour and other sharp tasting food (garlicy..raw oniony- ooh my am I salivating as I write this). I guess they get classified as Tamasic- but like I care
6) Sweets- no way (some genetic distaste). Colas- I naturally do not like you. Probably the only girl alive who does not like Ice cream !. Rich oily dishes rouse instant nausea
7) I trip on seafood- (read fish). All types (Sea/ River/ bones no bones/ desi/ videshi etc etc)
8) I can survive on Non veg. After Fish it is Red meat. No rubber tasting chicken for me please. Have not tasted much of other poultry
9) Mediterranean food = YUMMYYY. Pastas…grills…aahhh food glorious food..wonderful food..marvelous food
10) Eating out would definitely not mean Indian food. Although Purani Dilli Mughlai food is almost like a trip to Jannat..the aroma itself has a strange quality of exciting my tummy to emit growling hunger pangs J
11) Vegetarian food is inversely proportional to the pleasure quotient of my taste buds. Esp..Paneer, kaali daal, patta gobhi, phool gobhi-uuuhhhh
